Is the restaurant COVID-19 secure?

We will always maintain the highest standards of hygiene. This is in our DNA.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic & guidelines set forth by the UK Government, we have revaluated our infrastructure & process to ensure the safety of employees & our guests. You can view a full list of our precautionary measures including ordering processes & capacities here.

Are you able to accommodate food allergies?

We kindly ask to be informed of any allergies we need to be aware of in advance of your visit.

At Carters, we try to make the fewest number of changes possible when accommodating dietary restrictions, so that our guests may enjoy the experience as originally intended. If the dietary requirements dictate comprehensive changes in the menu that will result in a compromise of standards, we may not be able to accommodate your request.  We are not able to make substitutions for aversions. When booking a reservation through OpenTable, please note all food allergies in as much detail as possible.

We can make accommodations for certain common dietary restrictions (vegetarian, pescetarian) with a week’s advance notice. *We are currently offering a Vegan Menu during our time at Westlands UK.

While we do our best to accommodate mild allergies but cannot guarantee that we work in a nut, dairy, gluten or allergen-free environment given the complexity of our menu and the use of rare foraged ingredients. *Westlands is a no nut & sesame site so there is currently no nuts/sesame on our menus at Westlands UK.

Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.

Dietary requirements

We are now proud to offer Willowbrook Farm Halal products to our guests and the Muslim community with 72 hours notice. (*Not currently offered at Westlands due to using whole animals & local game in the area)

Can I cancel a reservation once the booking has been made?

We are not able to cancel reservations, If you are unable to join us on the date and time of your reservation, we will be able to reschedule your booking to another date with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Please arrive promptly for your confirmed reservation time, we have a lovely outside area to enjoy a drink (weather dependent) or your table will be available to enjoy a pre-dinner drink also.

If you require any assistance with travel or accommodation, please contact us directly for advice, we have partnered with The Wood Norton Hotel, who is offering our guests 15% off their stay, please email us for this code needed when booking.

Do you have a dress code?­­

Absolutely no dress code. Feel free to dress up if you like but don’t feel obliged. Whatever makes you comfortable so you can enjoy your experience. Just remember that the restaurant is situated within a glasshouse, so we respectfully request that you dress appropriately to maintain a comfortable dining experience. While the temperature is maintained around 25 degrees Celsius, we recommend dressing warmly to ensure your comfort throughout your visit. We have blankets available for additional warmth if needed.

Can I reserve a table without purchasing a ticket?

All bookings will require a pre-payment deposit of half of the current menu price, this will be charged during the booking process.

Ticket prices are inclusive of the evenings menu and Vat. We add 12.5% discretionary service charge to all bills.

Any additional purchases made while at the restaurant will be charged that same evening, we can also offer advice on wine/food pairings during our time at Westlands, our menu is seasonal and changes daily, so please feel free to ask on the day.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We are happy to accept walk-in reservations at any time, depending on availability. We strongly recommend making a prior reservation to avoid disappointment as availability for walk-in reservations can be very limited.

How far in advance can I book a table?

Reservations are open at Westlands UK from now until our last service on Sunday 31st December. Please sign-up to our newsletter at the bottom of this page to receive further info and the latest news for future reservations. 

Can I leave a tip?

The team who serve you are passionate professionals & service is an integral part of your experience.

We add 12.5% discretionary service charge onto all bills.

If you insist on leaving an additional gesture of gratitude in the form of a tip this will be shared amongst the entire team. Your generosity is greatly appreciated but not necessary – simply knowing we’ve made your experience more memorable is all we hope for.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept contactless, cash & card payments.

Is the menu ok for children?

While we welcome children to our establishment, please note that we do not have a dedicated menu specifically for children. However, we strive to offer a variety of dishes that can cater to broad preferences and appetites.

For parents with babies, you are more than welcome to bring your little ones along. However, we kindly request that you bring your own baby food and, if necessary, a high chair for their comfort and convenience.

Do you offer corkage for wine?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer corkage. If you’re interested in acquiring a specific wine or style of wine you can contact the team at the restaurant directly for recommendations via email to enquiries@wearecarters.co.uk

Can I make a reservation for more than 8 people?

To reserve a table of more than 8 people, please contact us directly. We also offer a range of custom options for private hire of the restaurant in its entirety.

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have parking spaces directly outside the restaurant (situated in Glasshouse ‘E’) please use Carters entrance on Marry Lane (500 yards from Westlands Main sign, on the left) our black and white Carters parking signs are visible on the right against the glasshouse and on the left a little past the glasshouse.

Do you have disabled access?

At the moment, we regret to inform you that our establishment does not have wheelchair-accessible toilets. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this limitation. We are actively working towards improving our facilities to ensure accessibility for all individuals, and we appreciate your understanding in the meantime. If you have any concerns or questions regarding accessibility, please feel free to contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.
