Carters rely on reservations being honoured by our customers, or adequate notice given of any changes. Accordingly, the following applies:

These terms and conditions (T&C’s) pertain to all booking reservations for dining at the restaurant: Carters, C/O Adderly Hill & Co. The Courtyard, Bubtsford Drive, Bromsgrove B60 3DJ (Hereafter addressed as “The Restaurant” or “we” or “us” or “our”). The Restaurant is owned by Carters Restaurant Ltd. Company no.: 14538388. 1. Booking via OpenTable for up to 12 guests.

  1. Bookings are made through a third-party booking system operated by OpenTable. You can find further information on their T&Cs at opentable.com/legal/terms-and-conditions

2. Purchase Policy

  1. All reservations must be secured with a valid credit or debit card. We reserve the right to make charges to the card used to secure the booking without prior notification.
    1. Due to data protection we are unable to take card details over email which is why we request our guests telephone to confirm their bookings if they haven’t booked online. When you use a credit or debit card to secure a reservation, your credit or debit card account information (including card number and expiration date, but excluding the CVV number) is held by a third-party payment service provider. Once provided we no longer have direct access to the information. All card details are held by Stripe which is audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. The restaurant and our booking system provider OpenTable also have their own PCI compliance policies. 
  2. Reservations cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded after purchase.
    1. Reservations can be rescheduled with a minimum of 72 hours notice.
    2. Please note, just like a sporting event, concert or theatre ticket, reservations are final and non-refundable.
    3. All purchases are subject to OpenTable’s service fees and charges, which are also non-refundable.
    4. You will be responsible for paying all applicable taxes and VAT in connection with your purchase of a OpenTable reservation.
  3. Nothing in this Purchase Policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer. For further information about your statutory rights, please contact Citizens Advice.
  4. Unfortunately, there can be no refund or credit against your final bill for reductions in party size.
  5. There will be no refunds or reductions to the menu price under any circumstances.
  6. You may transfer or gift your reservation to another guest through OpenTable. Transfer of payment must be handled between guests directly, as appropriate.

3. Dietary Requirements

  1. We are able to make accommodations for certain common dietary restrictions (vegetarian, pescetarian, gluten free) with at least 48 hours advance notice.
  2. We try to make the fewest number of changes possible when accommodating dietary restrictions, so that our guests may enjoy the menu as originally intended. If the dietary requirements dictate comprehensive changes in the menu that will result in a compromise of standards we may not be able to accommodate your request. 
    1. We are not able to make substitutions for aversions.
    2. We can not guarantee that we work in a nut, dairy, gluten or allergen-free environment given the complexity of our menu.
    3. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness. We cannot be held liable for any personal illness discovered following a reservation at The Restaurant.

4. Payments

  1. There will be no refunds or reductions to the menu price under any circumstances.

5. Changes

  1. The Restaurant reserves the right to change your booking in the event of unforeseen or other circumstances outside the Restaurant’s control, including (but not limited to) adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, safety and security concerns (including outbreak of disease) or illness to key members of staff, utility interruptions, from any authority.

6. General

  1. If any provision or part of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the legality, validity and enforceability of all of the other provisions and parts of these Terms and Conditions will not be impaired.
  2. No failure or delay by The Restaurant in exercising or enforcing any right, power or remedy which arises under these Terms and Conditions shall operate as a waiver of that or any other right, power or remedy. No waiver by The Restaurant shall be effective unless in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Carters Restaurant Ltd
